YOUR GUIDE TO MARBELLA

Luxury, comfort, tradition, and modernity all join forces in Marbella, a Mediterranean town with a five-star badge. Located on the Western Costa del Sol and internationally known as the capital of tourism, Marbella owes its success to extensive and varied leisure facilities capable of covering the requirements of the most demanding public: twenty-eight kilometres of beach, a beautiful mountain range, golf courses, luxury hotels, four marinas amongst which of note is the well-known Puerto Banús, modern shopping centres, spacious premises for holding conferences and an intense nightlife, are just some of the charms of this enclave, characterised by its magnificent microclimate and select ambience.

Due to its privileged geographical location, Marbella boasts one of the most beautiful landscapes on the Costa del Sol. Surrounded by the high mountains of the Sierra Blanca, this town open to the sea meets all the ideal conditions for any open-air activities. Similarly, its economic, touristic, and social development have increased the prestige of Marbella as an indispensable destination for all types of travellers.

Roman, Arab, and Christian vestiges can all be found in the Old Quarter of the town. Its little streets are living testament to the survival of centuries of magnificently preserved history which continue to surprise those strolling around the little corners full of tradition and charm.

The Arabic wall, the museums, squares, chapels, and the popular Church “Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación” (Our Lady of the Incarnation) are witness to a rich and attractive cultural history to which is added local gastronomy, typical shops, and an unmistakably Andalucian ambience.

Besides the world-famous glamourous Puerto Banús Port, in Marbella East, “Cabopino Marina” is preferred by tourists in this area. It is known to be smaller, cosy, and very private. Amongst its attractions are bars, Spanish and international restaurants and tranquil beaches of fine sand bordered by a beautiful landscape of dunes and pine trees.
